A Message from the Director…

On behalf of the new Ohio International Pageant System, I would like to personally thank you for your interest in our program. In addition to our overall mission of showcasing the accomplishments of today’s teens, young women, and married women, we also believe in supporting higher education and promoting community service. We are proud to serve as host to the Ohio International Pageant System for several reasons:

As a community, Zanesville-Muskingum County is committed to encouraging young people to advance their education, to obtain personal and humanitarian goals, and to improve the lives of others while maintaining their own sense of style and character.

We are very proud of our Southeastern Ohio region, and we feel that we are an ideal location for hosting guests from throughout the state as they support the Ohio International events. Centrally located in the heart of Ohio, we have immediate and swift access from every direction. Furthermore, we are certain to treat all of our candidates, volunteers, staff, and guests with the utmost kindness; offering a variety of opportunities for lodging, entertainment, meals, retail, and quality customer service and hospitality.

Working diligently to define our community as an entertainment and convention destination, we admire the energy, strength, and influence of the well-rounded contestants, to which we wish to provide a venue for showcasing their beauty, talent, and convictions. Once again, we are working hard to recruit and attract lovely, talented, intelligent, well-spoken contestants, with whom all will be impressed with their levels of professionalism and enthusiasm.

We continue to be especially pleased with the creativity, spirit, and contributions that the current Ohio International representatives have made and will continue to make throughout the remainder of their year of service and beyond. They are loyal and dedicated candidates who are already making a positive impression. In addition to meeting and exceeding the expectations the International Program has of them to be appreciative of and giving to the program and the community, they have all proven to be women of integrity; displaying strength of character, as well as great charm and a quick wit! These ladies are assets to our communities, and each one has already proven to be a positive asset to the Ohio International Pageant System.

The Ohio International production team – LeVeck Entertainment and Productions (LEaP) - has a longstanding tradition of excellence – from providing top-quality entertainment and productions services, to award-winning stage productions and broadcasts. The production actually lies in the very capable hands of my supportive husband, Andy, who will provide an entertainment event that will leave the contestants feeling as if they have just experienced the excitement of a national competition, and the audience will be left with a feeling of pride, and a wish that they could watch it all one more time!

It is indeed, my honor and privilege to serve as the Executive Director of the new Ohio International Pageant System. A special thank you goes out to Susan Botek, my predecessor, for her years of service to the organization. She’s a woman of faith, integrity, and character… one that I truly admire. And also, special thanks to Mary Richardson, the Director of the International Pageant System, for her confidence in us to carry this torch.

Finally, we wish to express our gratitude to the generous sponsors of the program, to our staff and committee of volunteers, and to the community of Zanesville-Muskingum County, Ohio for providing these women such an opportunity for personal and professional development. We welcome you to the Ohio International family and to this fabulous community!
